It's funny because in NZ, tumble dryers are seen as a shocking waste of electricity, but in the winter, I couldn't be without one. My one here in the UK is fantastic but washer/dryer combos are notorious for being not only bad at their job, but unreliable because if a bit of one part breaks down, you've lost the whole lot.
