I decided early on that I would not make any posts to my journal asking/begging for votes. I felt like asking for votes seemed counterproductive because even if it pushed me over the threshhold to the next round, I'd have to beg twice as much the next week.

Maybe it's because I hated being the last kid picked in gym class, but I haven't pimped other entries because I don't want anyone to feel left out. There are enough good entries each week that if I listed them all, it would obviously be identifying the entries I didn't care for.
