Green Room - Week 24 - Day 4

Hello.

It's interesting because the closer we get to summer, the slower LJ tends to get. There are times over the past couple of years that it feels like my personal friends list has completely shut down. There are times, even now with the general LJ slow down, that I have to go back several pages every day to catch up. There are also times when I only have one.

Is it just me or is everyone else experiencing LJ slow down? I guess that's a selling point to get new people into Idol! A guarantee of quality new content every week from some amazing writers!!!

I'm going to let a man jab a big fucking needle into my spine this afternoon in the hopes that it alleviates the swelling in one of my discs in the hopes that that allows me to move on with my life without the constant pain in my back/leg that's been killing me for a year now.

I can feel your seething jealousy. It's the only thing that keeps me going, sometimes.

Ewwwwww.... I had an ex with discs from hell and I've seen this process.

Prednisone's been working pretty well, so we're hopeful.

I've actually been down this path once before and it led all the way to surgery, back then. This time should be better, which is good.

But I still hate that needle. :)

The proceedure could have been worse. It'll be a few days or so before we know if it worked. I'm still pretty hopeful.
