I always see my friends list slow down as Idol grinds along. As people drop out or get eliminated (or stay in and get tired!), many wander off and spend less time on LJ. And of course, as the weather gets warmer, there are more options for how to spend your afternoons and evenings!

Although at this rate, Season 6 of Idol will just keep going right up until Gary is ready to launch Season 7, and LJ will pick right back up!
