Unfortunately, always a crowd favorite,thenodrin missed the deadline this week and has been eliminated. Hopefully everything is OK.

As I know many of you surmised there is no poll this week.

It is a Contestant Only vote.

So, if you are a current contestant, go on over to the Topic Thread http://community.livejournal.com/therealljidol/318962.html - read the entires, make a list of your *30 favorite entries* and send that list in to me at clauderainsrm@gmail.com by Saturday March 27th at 5pm EDT.

As I've said in the past, the number of contestants being eliminated will be determined by the "break off point", but approximately 5 of the lowest vote getters will be leaving.

Probably not. You're a hardy breed. You've seen it all.

Wait - who is that over there? Oh, that's right - it's ALSO a Gatekeeper Round. They will also have their say and the approximately 5 lowest vote getters from their votes (who haven't already been eliminated in the contestant round) will be leaving.

So in total, roughly 10 of you will be leaving this week.

How about now? ;)

(what about if it was done in a fiery cage dangling over a gorge. . . *checks the budget* OK. Scrap that part. But imagine that you are!!!)

from how i read it, first the contestant votes are counted and the bottom 5 are eliminated.

then separately the gatekeeper votes are counted (not including those 5 already eliminated) and the bottom 5 of those are eliminated.

I got that part. Just wondering what happened if an entry got critically acclaimed but bombed at the box office. Or vice-versa.

Sometimes a body gets curious about the intricacies, y'know?

i suppose they would be eliminated, which doesn't seem quite fair, does it? but yeah it would be cool to see the results and how different the two lists are.

Yeah, it's just one of those weird procedural questions.

I do hope we'll get to see some of those results, if only to see how things differ between folks.
