How better to celebrate the life of one of the greatest civil rights leaders the world has ever seen then to wait for Gatekeeper votes to come in!!! He would truly be honored. :)

edit to add MOST of the Gatekeeper votes are in. I am still waiting on a few more. They have until 9 pm EST. Of course I will keep things open a little longer until I am finished with the official tally. Some people *like* to give me heart attacks by waiting until last minute... ;)

I get three weeks a year, more or less, but the nice thing about ours is that it rolls over from year to year. You can carry up to 240 hours of vacation time on th ebooks and anything more rolls over into sick time. Right now I think I have maybe 180 hours of vacation time?

I really can't complain too much personally. I work per diem, so I can take off pretty much when I want (with a few limitations based on whatever projects I'm working on), but I don't get paid for my days off.

My husband works for Disney, which is pretty employee friendly. He gets three weeks of vacation per year plus two personal days. They can't be carried over. In 2012 he'll be bumped up to 4 weeks of paid vacation per year. I'm looking forward to it! It seems like three weeks isn't even enough lately.
