Yes, I think some people have experienced that already. I have seen quite a few people admit they were taking a bye because they couldn't think of anything to write. It wouldn't surprise me if a lot of those found themselves in the bye out list when life pulled a fast one on them, or when the deadlines creeped up sooner than they'd expected. I love this idea Tek has of rewarding those who've never used them with the automatic bye later on... it would be a great sense of accomplishment to know that you were able to stay in one more week because you'd been diligently dedicated to the competition throughout.
