I'm glad your mom was able to be so strong and look so beautiful despite the hair loss. I'm still, personally, struggling on the vanity side of it. I've come to identify with my hair, and losing it feels like losing part of me. I fear being ugly with it gone. I just feel - lost.
But if it's going to happen, I'm going to rock it with wigs, scarves, whatever I need to do. Or I'll just walk around with no hair, and hell, come what may. Maybe I'll start a new central Maryland trend, lol.
