Green Room, Week 1, Day 4

Good morning, campers!

The Green Room is late today because [livejournal.com profile] clauderainsrm  is having a root canal and I have the day off and slept in.  Better late than never, right?

Let's get business out of the way first.  Have you been reading the entries?  Have you posted your own entry?  Only a few days left!

I think I've only made a couple of comments so far this season.  I've been technical support for ...3 years?  Something like that.  Gary's said it before, but I'll say it again - if you have technical questions, I can try to help you or reach out to others and get the answer for you.  My email is kithan @ charter.net.  That goes to my blackberry which I always have with me, so if it's something I know off the top of my head, you'll probably get a reply right away.

Other things to note - I have special icons for when y'all start getting sassy about the poll being posted.  :-)  Veteran contestants will tell you I can be bought with any combination of the following:  Pepsi, Cheetos and Bacon.  Gary will tell you I hate all of you, but I don't.  I just hate him.  ;-)

Alright, I've got some farming to finish and errands to run.  You kids behave!  Also, feel free to friend me if you like.  I'm not very posty, but there ya go.

Have a super Monday!

PS: [livejournal.com profile] spydielives  can you email me?  I need an icon or two.  :-)

Which are the other two?

(Also, I gave you criticism even though you didn't ask formally ask for it, so I hope that's okay. I kind of assumed since you replied you wanted it? I'm sorry if I was wrong!)

The other two are Accidentally on Purpose and Heroes.

Yeah, it's ok. I'm not actively seeking out concrit, but I'm also not formally opposed to it. The way that you did it, by pointing out what you liked, what didn't work for you, and asking questions was nice. I do want to improve, and I know that having others point out areas for improvement is one of the ways to do that. But I also know that I tend to lack confidence in my writing and be overly critical of myself--so I'm trying to ease into it. Not make myself too vulnerable too quickly.

Mostly I was drawn to the tv talk. Even though I tend to avoid most fandom type goings on, sometimes I can't help but jump into threads to say YAY! TV SHOWS I WATCH!

Don't worry too much about it. I personally feel I'm a horrible writer, and not very creative at all. I'm much better at math and all that logical stuff. My decision to enter this competition was based purely on the need to do something, anything!
