Green Room - Week 19 - Day 2

Good morning.

I have a bit of official business to handle this morning before getting into the "hey, how ya doing?" portion of our program.

I have heard back from 4 of the 6 contestants who have been given the power of Sacrifice.

Three of them are staying in the game. So yay! We get to keep them!

One of them though is indeed falling on their own sword and sacrificing themself to give someone else a new life. Which is another form of yay! A sad, we're losing someone, but they are taking another path "yay".

So today we are saying goodbye to tigrkittn. From Home Game to Game and (hopefully) back to the Home Game.

Because of her we are also saying welcome back to abbismom.

I am still waiting to hear from the remaining three.

I had a feeling this is how it would play out. tigrkittn has always struck me as rather self-sacrificing and kind, and I can't imagine who better to bring back than abbismom.

As for me, I'll be sticking around. I like the GR, and now that there's a Home Game thread (and I'm out of the game) I'll probably partake in that.

In regular life, it is snowing here and the schools are starting to post early dismissals. I am fighting the cold my son had last week :-P and so is my husband.

So, mobility lesson went well again! :)

I'm still brain-fried, though. Now that I have my rout *to* the destination down (from bus stop to Publix( we are now working on the reverse (publix to bus stop) and it's a hell of a lot of concentration, let me tell you! Just like... wow.

I'm not sure how much else I'll be able to do today, seriously, except for maybe run said route through in my brain. JI'm really satesfied with what went on, though, it really makes me feel good when my teacher says I did a really good job. and his "Nicely done" at the end of our lesson made me smile.

I am absolutely shocked and a bit touched by this act of kindness. I cannot imagine it having happened in the screw-or-claw-your-way-to-the-top atmosphere of season 4.

I'm with oberonia - I wasn't sure if anyone would actually use such a power. I have to say that tigrkittn gets massive amounts of cool points for that move. I definitely felt Abbi should have stayed in (I don't know how she got booted in the first place), but it's sad that we have to lose another awesome player who did make it in order to see that happen.

I appreciate all the kudos, but it was a really easy decision for me-- abbismom really deserved a reset, and I've been toward the bottom of the vote list since I got into the game. It's not like I could have won, or even believe that I come close to deserving to. So this was a no-brainer for me.

Gosh that's quite a decision for people to make.

As for how I am going - well as it was quite sunny about noon I ventured out in the car and got plenty of fresh food in 'just in case' the weather turns bad again, enough until the weekend when richandme will be here.
