The interesting comparison is between the first set of numbers (original split of Vets/New players) and the last set of numbers (current split of Vets/New players).

While it can be easy to manipulate numbers, I think this shows that new players are not getting the recognition they deserve.

Verrrry interesting. The vets started out outnumbered about 2-1/2 to 1, and now we're at exactly 2 to 1 vs the newbies. Bwa-ha-ha!

76% of the new players are gone? Wow. Then as far as I'm concerned, however much further I get now is a complete and utter bonus.

Personally I think it's because the vets are less likely to miss deadlines and also more likely to push at the last moment to stay in the game.

Whereas newbies are more likely to be frustrated or wander off. (it's the same every season, only this is the first one where the two groups started out divided.)
