What was at stake in the last poll?

Nothing less than immunity. Not personal immunity - but the ability to hand it out to someone else.

From now until The Top 75 these individuals that you have selected will have the one time power to save the person of their choice from being eliminated (and thus the person with the next fewest votes will go)!

How did you select these contestants who will be receiving this power? Well, in a way - you didn't. They were *the three contestants with the least number of votes, overall, from the current contestant base.

Now though the people getting the least amount of attention are stepping into the spotlight, with the power to save *you*. Bet they get attention now!!!!*G*

They can not use the power to save themselves - however they can use it to save each other if they want to do so.

The ultimate underdogs now have the power in their hands.

The contestants selected to be able to hand out immunity are:

It's a mixed blessing I know. But now is the time to make the best of it. Use it wisely.

(***edit to add: It was CLOSE, two votes going in a different direction could have had four completely different names here. Just showing once again the importance of supporting each other)

People feel differently about comments and responding, but fwiw, when people say nice things in comments to my post, and I thank them, I mean it. I'm not throwing anything out anywhere.

I just know that if I see a "Thanks" response and see five others that look the exact same, I feel like it's not...true. No matter what your actual intentions happen to be. You know?

Well, it means something to me when someone takes the time and energy to say something nice to me about my writing. So when I say "Thanks" or "Thank you" or "Thank you for your kind words" or "Thanks ::hug::" I'm saying it to that person at that time for that nice thing they said to me.

So it does, in fact, mean something to me. And I like to think it means something to the person I'm saying it to.

That is good to know. I just hope other people feel the same way. Can't vouch for them all, eh?

I can only speak for myself. But I find it hard to believe that anyone would receive a thank you reply from me and think, "Oh, she's just saying that."

I think that's more of a personality flaw on my part. ;)
