Green Room - Week 17 - Day 1

Good morning.

So, who's watching the polls?*G*

Seriously, I have a feeling that every week that goes by it's going to be more and more difficult to say goodbye to people. Which is a testament to the people left in the game at this point.

So, what is everyone else up to today?

edit to add: Happy Birthday Charlie!

I will do my best.

I have a sort-of personal connection; according to the ancestral chart, I am somehow related to Catherine Parr (she was an aunt or something to a direct ancestor?). I need to go back and look at that again.

Anyway, I have always been fascinated with Henry and his loving ways. I have read all of PG's books, and have a fairly decent collection of both fiction and nonfiction concerning that history.

Oh, and we can't forget the clothes... *grin*

Wow, interesting connection.

That *is* cool, Spydie! My famous ancestor is the pirate Henry Morgan. So...I really do have a little captain in me, giggle!

I hope the movie rocks. It is the one out right now that I really want to see too. Scarlett *and* Natalie? AWESOME!

On my father's side, my first ancestor to hit these shores came with Jean LaFitte's crew to help defend Louisiana in the War of 1812. I like to tell people that I'm descended from Pirates.

Oh I have a fascination with that time period and Henry. It started way back when with the Masterpiece Theatre series and went on from there. Really neat about the ancestor! I don't know about her though. And yes the clothes were quite something.
